I do a decent amount of mining in LS (yes I know it's not incredibly profitable, but this is a game. I enjoy it). Use a prospect. you get nearly the same yield as a procurer, and are next to uncatchable.

I strongly recommend ditching the F1-12 keys. I have high slots as keys 1-5, mids as shift 1-5, and lows as control 1-5. It's a very small change, but it made a big difference to me
